Delivering the Water of Life to the Arabian People: Zhu Gongshan Meets with UAE Energy Minister Awaidha
On January 15, during an industry gala held at the Louvre Abu Dhabi for the “2018 Sustainability Week” in Abu Dhabi of UAE, Zhu Gongshan, the President of the Global Solar Council and Chairman of the GCL Group, discussed business, the future, life, and art with Awaidha Murshid Almarar, the Minister of Energy of UAE.
At the gala, Zhu introduced the GCL Group’s industrial operations and plans for future development to Minister Awaidha and Mohamed Jameel Al Ramahi, the CEO of MASDAR, a local new energy company. Zhu said the GCL Group values the UAE market as well as the entire Middle Eastern market. The GCL Group will take an active part in UAE’s development of new energies. Zhu believes that the GCL Group could bring the lowest cost energy system to UAE, and bring the water of life and green energy to the people living in desert areas.
Awaidha said that the GCL Group is an exceptional new energy enterprise offering international clean energy and new energy, he sincerely hoped the company to bring its technologies, talents, management practices, and other advanced production resources to UAE for collaborations and development in new energy, and to explore the market in UAE and the Middle East. The Ministry of Energy of UAE will provide strong supports and services to the GCL Group and to jointly develop new energy in UAE.
Mohamed said MASDAR is looking forward to cooperating with GCL Group, and expressed his hope for further promoting the cooperation plan on new energy.
